Location
The airport, which opened in 1966, is located approx. 10 kilometers south of Hurghada and can be reached via trunk road 24 in the direction of Port Safaga. A shuttle bus service is currently not available. After each landing, however, both minibuses and taxis are available. Package holidaymakers are usually picked up by their tour operator and transported to their hotel accommodation.
