Location
The airport, which opened in 1961, is located approx. 6 kilometers southeast of the city center, in the Bole district. A shuttle bus service to the city center is currently only offered by Ethopian Airlines for their passengers. Otherwise, arrival and onward travel is only possible with a minibus to “Piazza Mercato” or with a car / taxi / rental car.
