The Kingdom of Swaziland is a small mountainous country (smaller than Sergipe) in southern Africa, without access to the sea. There are 1.4 million residents (2016). The administrative capital is Mbabane. The legislative capital and royal seat is Lobamba. The British dominated the Swazi kingdom in the 19th century. Independence was achieved in 1968.
