In order to enter Cook Islands, certain goods are subject to specific controls and, regardless of their value and quantity, they require the consent of Cook Islands government, preferably, license must be obtained prior to passage through the customs, preventing the goods from being retained. Personal gifts
The limit for personal gifts not requiring an import licence is $NZ40.
Intoxicating liquor
Cook Islands accepts intoxicating liquors only if addressed to: The Manager, Cook Islands Liquor Supplies.
