Bahrain Import Restrictions
In order to enter Bahrain, certain goods are subject to specific controls and, regardless of their value and quantity, they require the consent of Bahrain government, preferably, license must be obtained prior to passage through the customs, preventing the goods from being retained. Special documentation
Commercial goods must include an invoice and a Certificate of Origin.
Prohibitions
In addition to items prohibited by Dangerous and Prohibited Goods & Packaging Post Guide and ECI International Courier Regulations, Bahrain prohibits:
- Alcohol
- Firearms and firearm parts
- Games of chance
- Pearls, cultured, imitated, or artificial
- Publications or recordings considered to be obscene, contrary to religion, faith, customs and tradition.
- Weapons and parts of weapons
