Asia is the largest of the continents, both in the area and in the population. It covers one-third of the solid parts of the Earth ‘s surface and is responsible for housing nearly three-fifths of the world’s population. The coast of the dead sea, the lowest altitude plain of the world, are located the 396 m below the sea level, in the border region of the State of Israel with the Hashemita Kingdom of Jordan. As for regions in Asia, considering that a geographic region is a more or less defined area, characterized by certain physical and human aspects, it would be possible to find dozens of them on the continent and even some in the same country.
